The Best Thing I’ve Ever Eaten!
I enjoy a good meal.
What’s even better? Eating something that makes me say, "I have to come back and have this again!"
So in today's food blog, I'm highlighting the "TOP 7" best foods I've eaten.....
#7: Local Houston Favorite; Burns BBQ
Houston, TX
Burns is located on the Northside of Houston in Acres Home. I am personally a sausage sandwich connoisseur so I always opt for their homemade link sandwich, however all of their BBQ is AMAZING! Check out Burns Yelp reviews and information listed here
#6: Creole Eatery:
Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen, Stuffed Shrimp
Woodlands, TX
6 stuffed shrimp, jambalaya and asparagus. This meal was awesome! Schilleci's also has a great atmosphere, excellent service and a wonderful menu and wine selection. See Schilleci's menu here.
#5: Out of Town Eating;
Milo's Biscuit Co.
Waco, TX
The headliner of this show is the BISCUIT! Milo also has a delicious tomato jam that they place on this sandwich along with your choice of breakfast sausage patty or crispy bacon. Check Milo out here!
#4: Tropical Tastings;
Crackpot Kitchen,
Turks and Caicos
I ordered the Cornish hen marinated in jerk sauce with rice and peas and my husband ordered the jerk lamb. The food was served piping hot and seasoned to PERFECTION. If you're ever in Turks and Caicos do your stomach a favor and PLEASE go here! Their tripadvisor reviews are here
#3: West Coast Breakfast;
Bacon and Butter
Sacramento, CA
I got the biscuit sandwich while my husband got chicken and waffles. This food was fantastic and the speed of our meal was unmatched. Our food literally came out of the kitchen 15 minutes after we ordered it, hot enough to burn our mouths and EXTREMELY fresh. Considering the almost hour long wait, the food was beyond amazing. Not to mention their syrup with bits of thick sliced bacon in it. Absolute HEAVEN on a plate. Check Bacon and Butter out here.
#2: Red Velvet Breakfast;
Liberty Kitchen @ The Treehouse
Houston, TX
I guess by now it's obvious that I love waffles, chicken, bacon and BREAKFAST. This "Red Velvet" chicken and waffle was phenomenal. It came with bacon jam on the side and a fantastic potato hash on the side. Honestly I couldn't imagine a more indulgent meal. The menu description: Red velvet waffle, Dixie fried chicken bacon jam, warm maple syrup, 1 fried egg, sweet jalapeños. Check their menu here.
#1: The Best Dessert Ever;
Willie G's
Houston, TX
I know what you're thinking, what is that? THAT, my friends, is the BEST bread pudding/dessert that has ever entered into my life. I can honestly say I never knew what love in food form tasted like until this dessert. Here's the menu description: Butterscotch Crème Brûlée, Candied Pretzels, Dulce de Leche Ice Cream.
I mean GEESH! Could that possibly sound any more amazing? Check it out here.
